Architecture

As visionCATS is working with server/client architecture, the first installation of a visionCATS cluster (system consisting of one server installation and a respective number of client installations) will be a full, meaning both a server and client installation. Further installation in the same cluster will be clients’ installation only.

  • Full installation (server/client)

    During a full installation the database as well as the visionCATS server, visionCATS client and visionCATS instrument service are installed.

  • Client installation (starting with the second installation in a cluster)

    For a client installation, only the visionCATS client and (eventually) the instrument service are installed.
