Architecture

The visionCATS software is based on a client/server architecture, in which there is a single server connected to a number of clients and instrument services (i.e. a visionCATS cluster). In its simplest form and by default, a visionCATS installation consists in a single server, client and instrument services located on the same Windows installation. Additional installations in the same cluster will be client installations only.
